Lamination is a plastic covering on both the front and back of the wall map. It is permanently adhered to the map. Lamination offers increased durability and protection to the paper map. Dry erase markers can be used on the laminate.

What is Plastic Overlay?

Plastic Overlay is a sheet of clear plastic that hangs over the face of the wall map. It is attached only at the top of the map by a wooden rail, this allows it to be rolled up and out of the way. The Plastic Overlay option automatically includes Rails. This is a great option for routing or establishing territories. Dry erase markers can be used on the plastic overlay.

What are Rails?

Rails are wooden rails attached to the top and the bottom of the map. Rails include plastic tabs at the top of the map. The combination of rails and tabs make it very easy to hang the map flat against the wall with just a few thumb tacks.
